In Memory of Robert Schray

Robert (Bob) Carl Schray passed away June 4th, 2017 at Akron General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. 
Bob was born June 29, 1935 to Carl and Ella (Goins) Schray in Akron, Ohio, graduated Cuyahoga Falls High School, and earned his pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University. He was preceded in death by his parents.  Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara; siblings, Rodger, Dick (Michelle), Debbie (Jerry) Jacobs; sons, Todd (Alex) and Grant (Stefanie); grandchildren, Andrew, Lydia, Spencer, Mitchell, and Michael. 
Bob owned Brooklands Pharmacy in Akron for several years in the late 60's and early 70's.  He then hired on with F.W. Albrecht groceries as a retail pharmacist where he worked for 30 years.  An avid motorsports fan, Bob went to the Indy 500 for 50+ straight years. Later in life, Bob found a passion for flying and became a private pilot.  Bob was a member of the Church (of Christ) in the Falls and served as an elder there for many years.  Bob, along with his wife, spread the ministry through their many travels at home and abroad. 
Family and friends may call on Sunday, June 11, at 1 PM at the Church (of Christ) in the Falls at 837 Chestnut Blvd. in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221 with a service celebrating his life to follow at 2 PM.   Burial will be Monday, June 12, at 10 AM at the Northlawn Cemetery.
